    What scares horses the most? When I was riding director at camp in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest, I found out what really scares horses. On a beautiful summer afternoon during the camp session, I thought it would be a good idea to take the campers out on one of the many trails in the woods of the Nicolet forest. What would be a more wonderful way to spend an afternoon than be surrounded by a cool breezes, birch trees, and sparkling lakes?
